9 mm submachine gun

 

The 9mm Kedr submachine gun is a powerful advanced mass-produced close-quarter battle weapon. It entered service with the Russian Ministry of Interior as a self-defence weapon.

The Kedr fires 9x18mm PM cartridges. Submachine gun is recoil-operated. The trigger assembly enables the submachine gun to conduct single-shot and automatic fire. The rounds are fed from a double-column box-type magazine with a capacity of 20 or 30 rounds.

The submachine gun is fitted with a buttstock and combined optical sight attachment. It can fire both with its buttstock either folded or extended.
